The Gilmore Rising Stars Series has presented many fine young pianists over the past 18 years before their international breakthroughs, offering audiences a chance to hear the leading pianists of the future. Initially presented in 1999 as the Irving S. Gilmore Piano Series, it was renamed the Rising Stars Series the following year.
