Kalamazoo native Logan Evan Thomas makes his first appearance in the Festival’s popular noon series. An alumnus of WMU’s jazz studies program, he has also studied and worked with world-class musicians such as Fred Hersch, Stefon Harris, Danilo Perez and Jason Moran and had top finishes at the Nottingham International Jazz Piano Competition and the Bösendorfer Montreux Jazz Solo Piano Competition in 2010.
Thomas performs here with his jazz trio, Dmitry Gorodetsky, bass and Andrew Atkinson, drums.
