Join us for a very special event when 2002 Gilmore Artist Piotr Anderszewski plays and conducts from the keyboard, featuring Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in C Major, Op. 15 with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra. Janice Carissa and Clayton Stephenson, 2022 GIlmore Young Artists will perform Bruch’s Romantic Concerto for Two Pianos, Op. 88a, with Andrew Grams conducting. The program will open with Louise Farrenc’s Overture in E-flat Major, Op. 24, a fiery and celebratory work infused with the Parisian energy of the 19th Century.
