Canadian-born Jan Lisiecki signed on with Deutsche Grammophon two years ago at just 15 years of age. His debut recording of Mozart Concertos for the label was released earlier this year. Born in Calgary of Polish Émigré parents, Lisiecki’s awards include the 2010 Révélations Radio-Canada Musique and the Jeune Soliste des Radios Francophones in 2011. The Fryderyk Chopin Institute released Lisiecki’s recordings of both Chopin concertos with Sinfonia Varsovia, which received the prestigious Diapason Découverte award in 2010.

This season Lisiecki makes his debut with the New York Philharmonic and with Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Orchestra. He currently studies at the Glenn Gould School of Music in Toronto.
