Enjoy this opportunity to witness both 2022 Gilmore Young Artists in recital together. In this combined program that features both solo and duo repertoire, Carissa performs Beethoven’s Sonata in C Minor, Op. 13 (“Pathétique”) and Stephenson counters with music by Gershwin and Art Tatum. Together, the pair tackle a Mozart sonata, Greg Anderson’s two-piano arrangement of Khachaturian’s Sabre Dance and Lutoslawski’s Variations on a Theme by Paganini.
