Save the dates, because we can’t wait to invite you back to West Michigan! Hailed as “the largest gathering of piano talent in the Western Hemisphere” (NPR), The Gilmore International Piano Festival has featured stars who range from classical artists like Van Cliburn, Krystian Zimerman, and Mitsuko Uchida, to jazz and pop artists like Diana Krall, Tony Bennett, John Legend, and Brad Mehldau. For three weeks next Spring you can hear world-class pianists from across the globe in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, and venues around West Michigan. Artists are so excited to share their music with you – in person – once again.

The Gilmore celebrates the piano in all its variety and depth: including jazz, classical, pop, folk, swing, blues, gospel and everything in between. At the next Festival you’ll encounter the piano as a solo instrument, with orchestras, in trios and duos, in bands and ensembles, and even in digitized form. And because this is a festival, we are happy to present more than concerts. You’ll find pre-concert talks, films, a theater performance, lectures, master classes, evening social events, family events, and so much more. We hope to see you there!

Rich with creative culture and natural beauty, your experience doesn’t need to stop when the curtain comes down. Our partners at Discover Kalamazoo can help you live like a local; get a map of our breweries, shop downtown in our independently owned outdoor mall, tour one of our museums, or drive over to the lakeshore and let Lake Michigan take your breath away.

We are diligently preparing the Festival with everyone’s safety in mind. Keeping our patrons, artists, and staff safe will remain our top priority during our preparations.
