Community Piano Lab for Youth and Adults
Community Piano Lab (formerly Maple Street YMCA)
In light of Covid-19 restrictions, The Gilmore will not be able to offer in-person classes at the Maple Street YMCA until further notice. We are excited to offer Community Virtual Piano Lab classes online for youth and adults.
Virtual Piano Lab classes will meet via Google Classroom once a week for 30 minutes. Classes will be taught by Gilmore Piano Lab instructors. The Winter 2021 Virtual Piano Lab session will run for 12-weeks January 18, 2021 through April 16, 2021.
Classes offered include:
Level 1 – Elementary Beginner (Ages 7-10)
Small group piano lessons for students with no previous piano experience.
$120 for 12 weeks, scholarships upon request.

Level 2 – Secondary Beginner (Ages 11-14)
Small group piano lessons for students with no previous piano experience.
$120 for 12 weeks, scholarships upon request.

Thursday 5:00-5:45PM
Level 3 – Intermediate (Ages 11-14)
Small group piano lessons for students who have previously studied piano either with The Gilmore’s elementary school Piano Labs or with a private teacher.
$120 for 12 weeks, scholarships upon request. .

Adult Beginner
Small group piano lessons for adults with no previous piano experience.
$180 for 12 weeks, scholarships upon request.

Through the generous support of our education sponsors, we are able to loan keyboards to families that do not currently have access to an instrument. Details on how to borrow a keyboard will be sent after registration is complete. The Keys2Kids keyboard lending program will be free of charge to class registrants.
