Jazz with Bell’s and the Aaron Diehl Trio
March 29, 2021
What better way is there to enjoy a jazz concert than with a Bell’s beer in hand?! Check out our partnership with Bell’s Brewery for the Aaron Diehl Trio’s live stream jazz performance on Friday, April 9th at 7:30 PM ET. Not only will you get to enjoy great music, you’ll also be able to enjoy great food and beer at a special price!
Our Board President, Larry Bell, is founder and CEO of Bell’s Brewery and is an all-around jazz connoisseur. During our biennial Festival, jazz concerts are held at Bell’s Eccentric Café. Although our current season is virtual, this partnership honors that tradition with a special menu and a beer chosen by the artist. Order yours today and pick up curbside April 9, then go home, log onto the concert, and treat yourself to a great evening!
Here’s how it works:
To place your order, call Bell’s Eccentric Café at (269) 382.2332. Orders must be placed by 7 PM on Thursday, April 8th. Pick up your order curbside at Bell’s Eccentric Café on Friday, April 9th between 4 – 6:30 PM.
The three-course meal is $20 per person or $35 for two!
The meal includes:
- Greens Salad with an Amber Ale Vinaigrette
- Smoked Pork Shoulder, Smoked Carrot and Fennel Slaw, with Apple BBQ Sauce
- Pear and Frangipane Tartlet with Malted Cream
- One 16 ounce Crowler of Amber Ale
Chef Kris at the Eccentric Café chose to pair Amber Ale because Aaron Diehl is known for his versatility; he’s equally comfortable playing works from George Gershwin and Thelonious Monk to contemporary composers like Philip Glass.
Bell’s Amber Ale goes great with just about everything. With its sweet caramel notes balanced with herbal and citrus hop aromas, it’s sure to have you tapping your toes to the Trio’s music. You can add a 6-pack to your order when you call in! Or pop into the General Store at pickup and stock up on your other summer favorites — Oberon is in stock, too!
