Arseniy Gusev to replace Alexei Melnikov on December 12, 2021

Due to complications with travelling from Russia, Alexei Melnikov is unable to perform for our Rising Star Series. We are pleased to announce that another talented young pianist, Arseniy Gusev, is able to join us at 4 PM on December 12 in the Wellspring Theater. Also trained in the Russian school, Mr. Gusev has studied both piano performance and composition. He will perform works by Nickolay Medtner, J.S. Bach, Schubert, and Messiaen. He will conclude the program with one of his own compositions, Toccata No. 1 for solo piano.
