Bell Young Artists

Established in 2022, the The Larry J. Bell Young Artist Award is presented every four years to single out the most promising of the new generation of pianists, age 24 and younger. The Jazz Awards Nominating Committee, made by music professionals from around the world, recommends artists that are evaluated by the anonymous Jazz Awards Artistic Advisory Committee. Candidates for the Award are unaware that they are under consideration.

Each Bell Young Artist receives $25,000 to further their musical career and educational development. This Award is strictly monetary and advisory and does not involve managerial assistance from The Gilmore.
