Spanish Harlem Orchestra, the three-time Grammy®-winning salsa and Latin jazz band, brought their authentic New York sound to the 2018 Festival, much to the delight of the audience at Kalamazoo’s Chenery Auditorium. The band’s 13 vocalists and musicians, led by pianist Oscar Hernández, presented a concert filled with non-stop music from the barrio – raw, organic, and true to the legacy of hard salsa.
