British pianist Paul Lewis returns to the Festival to perform the works of Haydn, Beethoven and Brahms. Lewis is internationally regarded as a leading musician of his generation.
His numerous awards have included the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Instrumentalist of the Year, two Edison Awards, three Gramophone Awards, and many others. He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2016 Queen’s Birthday Honours.
