Mr. Galant has won prizes at multiple important competitions, including both the 2015 Van Cliburn Junior Competition and Eastman Young Artists International Piano Competition. He currently attends Columbia University and The Juilliard School, where he is studying piano and pursuing degrees in Data Science and Russian Literature.
Tickets are sold only on the evening of the concert at the event. Students are always admitted free.
