2010 Gilmore Artist Kirill Gerstein displays a masterful technique, discerning intelligence, and a musical curiosity that has led him to explore repertoire spanning centuries and styles. A local audience favorite, he has proven to be one of today’s most intriguing and versatile musicians.

His early training and experience in jazz expands his expressive musical personality. Gerstein’s recital includes works by Bach, Debussy, Chopin, and the rarely-heard Sonata No. 3 of Schumann.

A pre-concert talk by Lia Jensen-Abbott, Albion College, will be held at the Dalton Center Lecture Hall at 7:00 PM (free for ticketholders).
