Pianist and Western Michigan University Professor of Music Lori Sims returns to The Gilmore for a chamber recital featuring works by C. Schumann, Janáček, and Beethoven. Joining Sims and making her Festival debut is violinist Jinjoo Cho, a First Prize Winner at several of the world’s most prestigious violin competitions, including the Stulberg International Violin Competition right here in Kalamazoo! Throughout this thoughtfully crafted program, Sims and Cho will explore themes of love, jealousy, and rage.
