2006 Gilmore Artist Ingrid Fliter performs with Katherine Chi in a two-pianos/four-hands recital. Chi was the first Canadian and the first woman to win Canada’s Honens International Piano Competition, and she gave memorable performances at the last two Gilmore Festivals.
A Festival regular since 2006, Fliter has won the admiration and hearts of audiences here and around the world for her passionate yet thoughtful and sensitive music-making performed with seemingly effortless technique. Their program includes Schubert’s monumental Fantasy, D. 940.
A pre-concert talk by Beau Bothwell, Kalamazoo College, will be held at the Dalton Center Lecture Hall at 7:00 PM (free for ticketholders).
