Praised for his “power, speed and finesse of artists twice his age” (Tribune Star), 2018 Gilmore Young Artist Elliot Wuu has captured audiences with colorful tones, sensitive musicality and emotional depth in his music. The day after his performance of the Grieg Piano Concerto with the Kent Philharmonic Orchestra, Wuu gives a solo recital for audiences in South Haven, featuring piano sonatas by Beethoven and Liszt, Debussy’s Suite Bergamasque, and Liszt’s Bénédiction de Dieu dans la solitude, from his 10-piece cycle Harmonies poétiques et religieuses.
