Davis, whose career was launched by Betty Carter, has become one of the most respected pianists of his generation, performing and recording with Freddie Hubbard, Christian McBride, Wynton Marsalis, and many others. A GRAMMY Award–winning collaborator and acclaimed bandleader, Davis is also a dedicated educator and Associate Professor of Jazz Piano at Michigan State University.
