The Gilmore and Battle Creek’s Juneteenth Family Day present Tony Fields & Doug Decker
Tony Fields started his singing career in Battle Creek at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Inspired by his older brothers’ participation in music, Fields performed in several local groups. In 2007 he released his first recording of original music, and in 2008 paired up with keyboardist Doug Decker. Doug Decker has worked as performer, session musician, audio engineer, teacher and musical director. He performs on Hammond organ, piano and cutting edge electronic instruments. The duo will get you on your feet with covers of classic Funk, Soul, R&B and Motown hits.
