Alicia’s Hands

An engrossing documentary and tribute to legendary Spanish pianist Alicia de Larrocha. The film includes interviews with internationally renowned artists such as André Previn, Maria João Pires, Martha Argerich, and Ms. de Larrocha’s very close friend, Joaquín Achúcarro, who speak of her technique, passion, and status as one of the 20th century’s greatest pianists. Ms. de Larrocha’s daughter, Alicia Torra, will join us for an audience Q & A after the film.
