The Gilmore Blog

IN THE ARTS we proclaim “Encore!” as a way of praising something memorable—and to ask for more!
The Gilmore has established a legacy group for donors called the Irving S. Gilmore Encore Society. Members of this group, who are listed below, believe in what we do and want to assure that there will be “more Gilmore” in the future. They have done so by making provisions for future support through their wills, trusts, retirement plans, or other planned gifts.
Unless otherwise designated, bequest gifts are deposited in The Gilmore’s endowment, which provides support in perpetuity. That assured annual revenue helps guarantee that The Gilmore will be able to present “encore” seasons year after year and help strengthen the international careers of deserving pianists.
The Gilmore’s Encore Society is easy to join. You don’t need to send any legal documents or even indicate a dollar amount. If you have already planned a gift or named The Gilmore in your estate plans, you can complete a form online at thegilmore.org/encore.
