“Classical music is so much more profound than pop music because it’s almost timeless,” Li said. “It’s a universal language.”
Li recently placed second in the International Tchaikovsky Competition, where over 10 million viewers watched his performance online. He is scheduled to appear in France, Germany, the United States and Canada in the coming months.
