A prior performer on the Gilmore’s Rising Stars Series, Michael Brown continues the Leonard Bernstein 100th birthday celebration with selected solo works by Bernstein and other Bernstein-related pieces, including two of Brown’s own written in Bernstein’s honor.
Equally acclaimed as a pianist and composer, Brown has been described as “one of the most refined of all pianist-composers” (International Piano).
