Russian-Lithuanian pianist Lukas Geniušus has performed worldwide in recital, as a guest artist with premier orchestras and at summer festivals. He is an avid chamber musician and an extremely inquisitive performer who enjoys performing new works by modern composers, as well as resurrecting rarely performed repertoire. His most recent CD, of Prokofiev’s 2nd and 5th sonatas, was awarded the prestigious Diapason d’Or by The Diapason in January 2019.
