Commissions

The Gilmore is committed to the creation of new music, and each Festival includes the premieres of new works for keyboard instruments. In addition, each Gilmore Young Artist Award includes the commissioning of a new work for the recipient, and new works have been created for some of The Gilmore education programs as well. Below is a list of the works The Gilmore has commissioned since its inception in 1991.
