2010 Gilmore Young Artist Ivan Moshchuk returns to his home state of Michigan firmly entrenched as a student of Leon Fleisher, Brian Ganz and Ildar Khannonov at Johns Hopkins University’s Peabody Institute. The Grosse Pointe native received the 2011 Peabody Career Development Grant and the Elizabeth A. Bryan scholarship at Peabody.
Moshchuk spent the summers of 2006 and 2008 studying with Ivan Moravec and Miroslav Brejcha at the International Music Academy in Pilsen, Czech Republic. This past July he attended the BANFF Piano Residency as part of the BANFF International Music Festival in Alberta, Canada.
