Christian Sands

A “rising star” in the world of jazz, twenty-two year-old Sands began playing piano at three and was composing by five. His swift rise in the world of jazz includes two appearances at the Grammy Awards, one of which was a duet with legendary pianist, the late Oscar Peterson. Currently finishing his studies at the Manhattan School of Music, Sands was credited by many with “stealing the show” at a Fontana Chamber Arts performance with Christian McBride last spring.
