Alon Goldstein makes a return appearance at the Festival as one of the important new generation of the most promising young artists. A protégé of Leon Fleisher, Goldstein made his orchestral debut at eighteen with the Israel Philharmonic and Zubin Mehta and his career has been blossoming ever since. His Festival program features Debussy’s Preludes, Book II, in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the composer’s birth.
