Select the red text for more information.
Celebrating the joy of music making, and in particular the keyboard, is key to our mission. Programs that not only develop basic keyboard skills but also foster a lifelong appreciation of music make up the curricula for The Gilmore’s education initiatives.
The Gilmore provides programs that introduce, instruct, inspire, and expand a person’s musical appreciation. Our education programs fall into three broad categories:
In addition, new Gilmore community collaborations for especially gifted young musicians in the local area include a Master Teacher residency program and “Bravo,” a performance opportunity connected with a feature on WMUK’s broadcast “In Performance.”
For information on any of The Gilmore’s educational programs, contact slawrence@gilmore.org or call 269/342-1166 or 1-800/34-PIANO, ext. 3125.
