Day Piano Camp
The 2012 Day Piano Camp will be held Monday, July 9 – Friday, July 13. More details will be posted as they become available.
The Gilmore’s week-long Day Piano Camp consists of enrichment activities designed for the beginning years of piano study. Students range in age from 8 to 12 years, and camp placement is determined through an informal piano audition.
Held at the Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor Center, Gilmore Piano Camp is dedicated to expanding piano skills in an exciting outdoor environment. During the week, students are taught through an integrated curriculum of music, drama, art, nature and various water sports. Campers have access to a keyboard lab and participate in both solo and ensemble piano instruction with professional musicians.
Recitals by guest artists and camp faculty are attended by all campers. The week concludes with a final celebration recital by campers for their peers, friends and family.

To register for The Gilmore Day Piano Camp, follow the instructions listed below:
- Reserve a spot by registering online or by phone with Sherman Lake YMCA – www.shermanlakeymca.org or (269) 731-3000.
- If applicable, apply for a financial aid scholarship with Sherman Lake YMCA.
- Download and return Gilmore Piano Camp Registration Form. This will register you with our Education Department, allowing you to receive updates and more information.
- Download and return Gilmore Piano Camp Scholarship Form.
