Alice Kemerling Named Assistant Director
Kalamazoo, Michigan, February 10, 2012— The Gilmore International Keyboard Festival Director Daniel Gustin announced today the promotion of Alice Kemerling to the new position of Assistant Director of the organization. Ms. Kemerling, who has been The Gilmore’s Director of Development since August, 2000, will begin her new responsibilities immediately.
“I am thrilled to have Alice take on the additional responsibilities of Assistant Director of The Gilmore in addition to continuing to manage the critical fund-raising efforts of our organization,” said Mr. Gustin. “The new staff structure with Alice as Assistant Director will allow us to meet the growing demands of the biennial Gilmore Keyboard Festival in West Michigan, our international Gilmore Awards programs, as well as our other local concert-giving and educational activities.”
President of The Gilmore Board of Trustees William Richardson commented, “Alice Kemerling will do a terrific job in her new position, as she has done leading development over the years.”
Now celebrating its 22nd year, The Gilmore organization has a full-time staff of nine and offices at the Epic Center in downtown Kalamazoo.
